我来自拥有五千年深厚文化的泱泱大国—中国。我出生在一个幸福美满的家庭。我的父母都是工程师。他们把我抚养长大，教会我如何做人，让我知道诚实、正直、勤奋、感恩这样的美好品质是人生中最珍贵的财富；让我知道只要我们发挥主观能动性，拥有顽强的毅力和说一不二的行动力，那么就能获得成功。现在，我长大了，是时候飞出父母的怀抱自己拼搏了。我相信，经过我自己不断的努力，我会拥有属于自己的一片天空。从小，我就喜欢读书。书本给予我的，不仅仅是一次次文字的感动，更多的，是教会了我许多为人处事的道理。在读书时，我的思绪会随着书本纵横古今，好似与孔夫子商讨，又像与鲁迅谈话；我会在书本的牵引下来到撒哈拉沙漠游历，又会飞到世界的最北端——爱斯基摩人的领地去……《左传》说：“有德则乐，乐则能久。”在书本里，我学会了很多，也懂得了很多。人生的苦与乐，生活的悲与喜，我都在尝试微笑着从容面对。
荷兰对于我来说，像是一扇崭新的大门。它那充满现代气息的都市，开满美丽郁金香花朵的田野，转动着的白色风车和街角咖啡馆里飘散出的淡淡香气……都像童话故事里的情节一样吸引着我。众所周知，荷兰是世界上重要的出口贸易国。早在17世纪时，荷兰就成为当时世界上最强大的国家。拥有最庞大的商船队，有“海上马车夫”之称。而现在，荷兰更是欧洲十大经济强国之一。荷兰以它的文化，活力以及浓厚的学术气息深深吸引着我。这也是我选择去荷兰留学的原因。而且，我相信，我所选择的经济类专业，荷兰会给予我让我满意的教育。
如果有人问我是否是个幸运儿，我的回答当然是肯定的。 我坚信会有奇迹发生，但我们必须加快脚步才能主导他们，否则就会擦身而过。我有很多朋友经历过各种各样的挫折和困惑，但无论通向成功的道路有多艰辛，无论他们会做出多大的牺牲，他们都从未放弃过，始终坚守着他们的梦想。现在的我，已经拥有十足的勇气和信心，去开启荷兰留学之旅的航程，去开启自己人生中另一段旅途的航程。我会用自己坚定的信念和顽强的毅力，去完成我留学荷兰的梦想。
I am from China, a great country with a history of five thousand years. I was born in a happy and harmonious family and both of my parents are engineers. They brought me up, taught me how to be myself and made me know that such good moralities as honesty, righteousness, diligence and gratitude are the most valuable treasure in life and that as long as we exert our spontaneity and arm ourselves with strong willpower and high-hearted quality, we will achieve success. Now, I have grown up, and it is the time for me to fly out of the hug of my parents and struggle for myself. I believe I will carve out my own sky on the strength of my efforts.
I am fond of reading. What the book brings to me is not only the moved emotions, but, more importantly, the principles for conducting. When I am reading, my feelings will gallop through the channel of time and space to discuss with Confucius or to talk with Lu Xun; I will get touch with Sahara under the guidance of the book; I will fly to the most north of the world—the territory of Eskimo...“Who is in possession of good moralities, will live a happy life and thus survive long,” said Zuo's Commentary. From the book, I have learned much. And I am trying to smile away the hardships and happiness, the sadness and joy of the life.
As to me, Holland is just like a brand-new gate. Cities full of modern tinge, fields covered with beautiful tulips, white windmills that are rotating, light fragrance from café in the corner of the street…., all attract me to go into the world of fairy tale. It is known to all that Holland is the most important export country in the world. As early as 17th century, Holland had been the most powerful countries in the world, in possession of giant commercial fleet and the title of “Sea Coachman”. Now, Holland is one of top ten economic powers in Europe, drawing my attention with its culture, vigor and dense academic atmosphere, which is one of the reasons I choose to study in Holland. Furthermore, I believe I will receive satisfying education in economic field in such a country.
“Are you a lucky girl?” if someone asked me, my answer will certainly be “Yes!” I take firm belief in miracles. But you have to be quick to catch them or else they will be gone. Many of my friends have experienced frustration and doubt, but they never give up, no matter how rough the road to success will be, no matter how many sacrifices they have to make, and always hold on to dream. At present, I have enough courage and confidence in myself to start my journey of overseas study in Holland and the new journey in my life. I will actualize such a dream with unwavering faith and strong willpower.
