The exhibition is a group show of diverse art and design practice providing staff with a platform to display their skills as established artists in their own right. It also gives an insight into their artistic practise to demonstrate how their ideas have fed into teaching and influenced the development of students work at TVU.
The exhibition is a great opportunity to view a cross section of work against the backdrop of a commercial retail space in Trocadero's public passage way.
Academics on display include Claire Hynds MA, lecturer at TVU and a London based printmaker who has exhibited throughout the UK. Her prime interest is print derived from a fascination with drawing.
Paul Glennon a lecturer at TVU and part-time graphic designer sites the main influences for his work as Marcel Duchamp and Susan Hiller among others.
Other academics work on display include Catherine Baldwin, Sally Castle, Michael Garaway, Paul Glennon, James Gillham, Lucie Hernandez, Claire Hynds, Mark Rawley, Olivier Ruellet, Mark Langley, Chris O'Neil, Cavell Ord-Shrimpton, Alan Schechner and Paul Vivian.
