Staff from the University’s School of Health will be promoting nursing courses at the shopping centre, in Brierley Hill, from Monday September 24 - Sunday 30. Anyone interested in training for a new career in nursing is invited to come along and talk to expert staff who will be able to advise them on their options, starting in February next year. Courses available in February include children’s, adult and mental health nursing. There is also a learning disabilities nursing course for September starts. There are no tuition fees and bursaries are available for financial support. Wendy Moran, Head of Nursing at the School of Health, said: “If there are people visiting the centre who are thinking about a change of career, we would urge them to come and have a chat to our lecturers about courses to suit their needs. “We have vacancies for a February start, which gives potential students time to plan for their studies. “There are plenty of part-time and flexible options to fit around busy lifestyles and students will also benefit from funding while they study.” For more information, visit the nursing stand at Merry Hill, opposite Ravel and Marks & Spencer, call 01902 518600 or see www.wlv.ac.uk/soh.
