This was the first event organised by the History Interest Group, and it proved to be a great success. This was the first event organised by the History Interest Group, and it proved to be a great success.The archivists at the Wellcombe had prepared a number of things for the group to see, many of which are rarely on public display. These included items from London at the time of the Plague, as well as documents, pictures and images covering the spectrum of health and social care.
The timing of the visit also allowed for visits to the newly refurbished café and bookshop, as well as a tour of the new 'Collections' exhibition.
