(a) “continuous residence” means residence in the United Kingdom for an unbroken period, and for these purposes a period shall not be considered to have been broken where an applicant is absent from the United Kingdom for a period of 6 months or less at any one time, provided that the applicant in question has existing limited leave to enter or remain upon their departure and return, but shall be considered to have been broken if the applicant:
(i) has been removed under Schedule 2 of the 1971 Act, section 10 of the 1999 Act, has been deported or has left the United Kingdom having been refused leave to enter or remain here; or
(ii) has left the United Kingdom and, on doing so, evidenced a clear intention not to return; or
(iii) left the United Kingdom in circumstances in which he could have had no reasonable expectation at the time of leaving that he would lawfully be able to return; or
(iv) has been convicted of an offence and was sentenced to a period of imprisonment or was directed to be detained in an institution other than a prison (including, in particular, a hospital or an institution for young offenders), provided that the sentence in question was not a suspended sentence; or
(v) has spent a total of more than 18 months absent from the United Kingdom during the period in question.

单次离境超过6个月=broken。前面的都不必看了。楼主不要想从字面外面看出甚么破绽给本人找尝试请求一次的理由，除非你不在意用钱打水漂。

根本上不成能申請10年永居了。在離境180天以上，法律上不是英國居民，依然申請10年永居，並且胜利的只要2種情況
一是公司派出國，能夠提出公司函件證明，與差遣缘故
二是學校交換生，能夠提出學校订式函件證明，最佳有系主任這種地位的解釋信

LZ能够翻翻旧帖子，苹果上最少有两例是单次入境超过180天，然而仍是请求到永居了的。我记得其中一个是9个月。不要轻言保持。

10年合法居留能够换身份是欧盟人权法，不是英国移民法。假如mm有吧牢底坐穿并有足够的瘦子去欧洲人权法庭打官司的话，倡议你去尝试。这个是一个十分漫长和煎熬的进程。而且，英国激进党政府反对英国法院把抗诉进行究竟！因此，集体感觉mm的请求根本上就是打水漂。
换个指标吧，找个老外嫁了算了
