This project, called Concrete Liaisons, is the creation of the internationally acclaimed artist Jane Boyd, and will visually address the question of what agencies are embedded in the architectural fabric of our environment to enable us to construct a sense of place and identity.
Jane Boyd is currently looking at the way we use public places around London particularly those designed by Charles Holden whose work, including many Underground stations and the central campus of the University of London, has become part of the psycho-geographical framework of millions of people over generations living and/or working in London

Venue: University of London, Senate House (in the Cloisters under the tower), Malet Street, London WC1E 7HU
There will be audio and visual projections at the opening event, which is hosted by the School of Advanced Study, University of London.
This project is supported by the Leverhulme Trust, and will be preceded by a seminar, on 6 December at 12.30pm, which is open to all.
