前英国内政兼外交大臣赫德男爵(Home and Foreign Secretary Lord Hurd)创作了女王自传《伊丽莎白二世：坚定不移》(Elizabeth II: The Steadfast)。威廉王子在该书序言中赞颂了祖母和祖父。
