我跟你状况差未几，想在入籍前把护照换了，原来筹备回国换的。可是时间有点不允许，所以才想着在这里换。真实感觉烦，阿谁no time limit stamp是甚么？没据说过嘛。莫非在这里换护照就不克不及新旧护照一同用吗？转到新护照上多费事啊！

以前大家都说能够间接两本护照一同用的。历来不知道还要阿谁no time limit stamp.我原来都打算要在这里换护照了，看来当初还要等一等了。我以前听律师说假如是邮寄出去的话，时间好像是4-14周。我真是不想折腾。当初你这么一说，我都没有主张了！

You do not need to transfer your residence permit to your new passport. If you choose not to transfer your permit, you should carry both your old and new passports when you travel to the UK - this will prove to our i妹妹igration officers that you have the right to be in the UK. If you cannot produce your residence permit when you arrive at our border, you may not be allowed to enter the country.

We cannot transfer your residence permit to your new passport at passport control when you enter the UK. If you can prove that you are entitled to live here, the i妹妹igration officer at your port of entry will put a date stamp in your new passport. You must then send us an application form asking us to place a residence permit in your new passport. You must be in the UK when you make this application.
If the residence permit in your old passport says that you have permission to settle permanently in the UK (called ‘indefinite leave to remain’), you must apply for a ‘no time limit’ (NTL) stamp using form NTL. You can download this form and a detailed guide from the right side of this page.
If the residence permit in your old passport says that you have permission to be in the UK for a limited period (called ‘limited leave to remain’), you must apply for a ‘transfer of conditions’ (TOC) stamp using form TOC. 据说有的人是两本护照的，始终很猎奇是怎么用的，是进出中国海关用中国护照，回英国时用英国的么？不会有甚么费事么？

有人被查到过，由于每一个次的出关和入关都要盖章。假如拿中国护照入中国海关，回来用英国护照入英国海关，就阐明英国护照上没有中国的章，中国护照上也没有英国的章，据说被查到过的人有受罚的详细怎么罚不太记患了。固然前些年查的很少，就是由于这么做的人多了，就开始查了
