我女敌人PSW了，我往年还要持续读书，读多一个本科，所以上UKBA看dependent能否任务，而后就顺便看看10年永居的货色，每次我和人提到这个，都会有人说：不是勾销了么？
进入正题，自己英文不算太好，在UKBA的网页上也不太会翻，Settlement外面没有提到10年永居请求，然而我去翻了具体的i妹妹igration rule，外面有提到Long Residence，仍然仍是之前的规矩，10年延续签证，10年累计分开英国不超过18个月 blablablabla~
而后我又去看相干的旧事，下列是我找到的应该和永居条例瓜葛最亲密的一条旧事，是对于Home Secretary的声明，于 2010年十一月5日公布的。原文如下：
Government announcement on settlement reforms
05 November 2010
The Home Secretary has outlined the government’s approach to reform of the settlement rules, including a decision not to pursue the ‘earned citizenship’ policy.
Earned citizenship concerned the path to settlement and British citizenship, and was planned to come into force in July 20十一. It will now not be introduced.
Outlining the government’s approach to settlement reforms, the Home Secretary said:
'It is too easy, at the moment, to move from temporary residence to permanent settlement.
'We will not implement Labour’s policy of earned citizenship, which was too complicated, bureaucratic and, in the end, ineffective.
'If people enter this country saying that they will only stay here temporarily, then it is obvious that they should only stay here temporarily.
‘Working in Britain for a short period should not give someone the right to settle in Britain. Studying a course in Britain should not give someone the right to settle in Britain.’
We will make further announcements in due course. In the interim, the current rules and requirements for obtaining settlement and citizenship will remain in place.

重新闻上看，他们的确下定信心要变革移民条例，以他们的话来讲就是短时间居留变为永远居留太过简略了，前面还提到了一系列的意见，然而这些都是不决的，详细条例要在20十一年7月出台。在这以前，一切条例都放弃不变。
从这个旧事能看出来，移民政策会变，会调剂。然而10年永居纷歧定会被勾销。详细怎么变，就等着吧。
此外，各位为签证和请求居留权困扰的敌人们，我知道大家的表情，政策变一变可能会改动得多人的命运，然而不要太过紧张，那些旧事中的舆论，即便是出自最高层的人物，也仅仅是舆论，不要老是被天天各种各样的旧事，加之他人的胡乱猜测影响表情。 天天过的轻松点，凡事做好几手筹备就是了~~
最初衷心祝愿大家在请求签证，永居，入籍的过程当中所有顺利！
PS： 这个，很欠好意思的问一句…… 虽然我在UKBA的网站翻了挺久的，然而仍是没能最初确认本科的dependent能否任务，相干的policy我只看到了对医生和牙医无限制，那末这个的潜台词是否就是，只有不是当医生或者牙医，做别的任务就没问题了呢？ 但愿大家指教~

恩，看到lz的阅历，其实10年也很好混嘛。读完硕士，再翻转读回本科文凭就行了。

lz仍是没有读分明，目前为止没有民间说法，说是有任何详细政策要在7月出台，只是说原定于7月开始的labour的proposal被保持了，目前少数人就是等两件事儿，行将发布的stu reform(包罗psw）详细细节和开春后要发布的对于marriage/work route settlement的consultation细节，至因而在几月份谁也不知道，看人家ho的志愿了。十年是人权法框架下的，详细探讨的得多了，未几说了。
至于dependent，目前多于十二个月的学位课程还能够带dependent，一样初次要回国请求，行将推出的stu reform中不出不测会包罗进一步的限度（太多移民玩这种角色转换的游戏），等着就是了。

Length of stay
The next area to tackle is those who quietly drift from a temporary stay to a permanent one. We estimate that around 23,000 people who were granted settlement in 2009 initially came to the UK on a study visa (around 13 per cent of the settlement grants that year). The Home Office’s report ‘The Migrant Journey’ also showed that more than one-fifth of students who were granted visas in 2004 were still here in 2009.
The majority of those who remained had done so through acquiring a skilled job or through marriage as the student visa does not in itself confer a right to apply for settlement. However, in 2009 there were 109,000 extensions of student visas by those already here. We also have evidence to suggest that some students may be prolonging their studies in order to achieve an extended stay in the UK or even settlement through long residency rules.
We know that some modular courses allow students repeatedly to fail and retake modules. We must get back to a situation where students complete their courses in a timely manner and only seek to prolong their studies where there is a good academic reason for so doing.
We have also consulted on the proposal that students must show evidence of progression in their studies if they wish to extend their stay, and should return home between courses.
