这是卖方的律师发过去的，我曾经在等我的律师回复中，仍是想求教高人指导甚么意思：
“We are continuing to chase to remove the first charge on the property.”
First charge好像是第一借贷人 ， 个别指银行，remove 这个到底为哪样

估量卖方和银行有纠纷，好比欠mortgage或者卖方除了mortgage外又用房子典质去贷别的款了。

意思就是说这个卖方的房子是有典质存款的，卖方要先结清存款能力卖方。当初hold first charge的应该是银行，只要结清存款，银行能力解除房产的典质，卖刚才能够卖给你。
供参考：A legal charge on a property is a document that is held by Land Registry which outlines the person who holds the first charge on a property. It is a security to ensure payment of debt. A legal charge also prevents the property being sold without the financial interest of a property being repaid.
