第一次买房 ，收到了 home buyer report ， 有一个这个main walls 的问题 是3.。。请大家帮忙看看。。
Main walls：
There is an area to the front of the house (at low level on the left-hand side of the
bay) where the mortar has a very sandy mix and has almost worn away. The
probing of mortar joints to other parts of the property had mixed results. In some
places the mortar is hard, whilst in other areas the mortar can be easily rubbed
away. The sandy mortar is a cause of concern because
(1)the mortar assists in providing a tie between the timber frame and the brickwork and if the ties sit in a
very sandy mix then they serve little purpose
(2) the mortar needs to be in good condition to prevent water penetrating the brick skin and damaging the timber frame
(3) timber framed construction requires greater attention to detail and the
condition of the mortar indicates that this was not given. There is a need to
thoroughly check the mortar joints and replace those that are found to be
defective.

都没有遇到过这种问题吗？

说的是当年砌砖时候用的沙子和水泥mortar，是不是偷工减料少放水泥了。
再去一次，用螺丝刀划划砖缝，看看是不是都是沙子，一划就掉。

真是这个毛病的话，没法修。
一般住是没有问题的，一旦地震什么就可能比别的房子不结实了。
