Dear Parents
We are pleased to invite parents and students to the next TiffinTalk to be held at The Tiffin Girls’ School:
‘Careers in the Humanities’ – Wednesday 8 November 2017, from 6.30 - 8.00pm
Explore with a variety of speakers the differing career opportunities offered by a degree in the humanities.
Guest speakers include Elaine Lacey, Senior Consultant at Capgemini; Miriam Zendle, journalist and Digital Content Producer at NSPCC, and Dr Alexandra Buckle, Lecturer in Music at St Anne’s and St Hilda’s Colleges, Oxford University.

好学校教师管的严，一点大事他们都会分割家长，早退/逃课/衣冠不整/没做功课。然而先生少，拉帮结派很重大。

这类career fair一切学校都有，能请到的人根本上是本校结业生，目前先生和过来先生的家长，以及目前先生家长的瓜葛户。。。
牛叉学校能够请到牛叉的人和牛叉的公司。

前段时间网上po出来中关村二小请来的speaker，全是院士。杨利伟儿子也是中关村二小的，他也去做过演讲。

其实也不是甚么指点，就是一个时机让孩子和家长理解不同职业都是甚么模样的。
好比说律师这个职业，得多小孩对律师的理解估量就停留在律政俏才子这个阶段以为律师的任务十分glamour，但实际上律师任务十分boring。还有差未几一半的律师大学不是学法律的。
电视剧看太多当初得多女生想做法医，但真理解法医任务估量没有多奼女生想去做了，此外每一年法医学结业生估量超过了实际需要。
