咱们年底就要搬去爱丁堡，以前始终在欧洲，对苏格兰的教育零碎彻底不理解，想跟大家求教几个问题。
首先是孩子几岁要求上小学？我女儿9月中旬就5岁了，当初赶不赶得上往年秋天开学退学？入的是一年级仍是哪一个？
假如咱们十二月搬过来，还能够插班吗？
据说苏格兰的公立学校品质都还不错，私立学校学费好像也不像英格兰那末贵。爱丁堡的话有无甚么公立小学保举呢？私立小学呢？
以前看一个妹妹说中学更首要，假如买学区房仍是要看对口中学的品质其次才是小学。是这样吗？费事相熟爱丁堡的敌人保举几个对比好的区吧。
我家老二当初8个月，上托儿所的话是否也要提前注册，托儿所的费用大略是多少？

外面输出你的邮编就能看catchment了，对比好的小学有Sciennes 在EH9, Bruntsfield在EH10, Bonaly在Eh13, Juniper Green EH14, Blackhall EH4, Stockbridge EH3, Corstorphine EH十二，都是不错的，中学看James Gillespie，大略好学区房子就贵点儿，要不远点儿。本人按照爱好先找找再来详细问。但愿有帮忙。

Your daughter still can go to P1 this year at least for state school. For private school the admission process is completed now and you normally need to have an assessment to get a place during Jan for the semester starts from Aug. Or you can put her on the waiting lists. If you plan to stay in the Scotland it’s ok to choose a good public school but if you are an expatriate it’s better to choose private school as they run both Scottish and international curriculum.
Yes, you need reg for your little one for the nursery, again good nursery has a very long waiting lists. the cost is about 1K per month.
BTW , if you both working full time, it maybe better off to hire a nanny rather than go to the nursery as the school normally starts around 9 and finishes at 1515, you would need before/after school club arrangement.

爱丁堡有学区房的，eh10 bruntsfield morningside 对口的小学都十分好，中学更是爱丁堡第一位的公立，私立小学，esms, George heriot, George waston 都不错，仍是英格兰零碎的fettes 啥的也很好，tony blair就是那学校的
