Particularly in April, there is a La Feria de Abril deSevilla, which is one of the most famous festivals in Europe. It is held in theAndalusia, the capital of Seville, Spain and officially begins on Monday atmidnight, normally 2 weeks after Semana Santa (Holy Week), and ends with afireworks display the following Sunday, again, at midnight. In fact the Feriais a bit like the Spanish version of the Oktoberfest. The party is the essenceof Andalusian Spain and it is basically a weeklong event packed with FlamencoParties, Horse shows and a large agricultural show. This year, the dates willbe 20-25th April and it's an incredible time of year to be in Seville, justtake advantage and experience the Feria!The fair is not held at the city centre but at a canvas citycalled Real de la Feria which is erectedfor the event on the south side of the Puente de la Barqueta Bridge which isbuilt over the Río Guadalquivir. The celebrations are full of life and colour and the costumecan be stunning.
