Most people say they want to be a network marketer for the money. What they really mean is they want what the money can get them. They work long and hard to accumulate their wants and needs. To be a success and meet your goals, you must first dig deep and decide why you are a network marketer. What drives you in your work. Is it the freedom in works hours and schedule? Are you looking for a lifestyle that is 180 degrees from where you are at now? The key to your success is knowing the reason you are doing what you are doing. That will be the motivation to your success. If you are not a people person, this may not be for you. A teaching and coaching business is what Network Marketing is all about. The most concept that many network marketers seem to forget is they are sponsoring people not just reps. Do not suck the humanity out of your business is your race for more money. It is the people that will be making you the almighty dollar. In essence, dont bite the hand that feeds you.If you have to him and haw about your reason for building your business, then dont you think that other people will have trouble figuring it out as well? If you only concentrate on how much money your prospects can make you, then you are losing the reason for being a network marketer at all. There is no way you can convince the average Joe to put in the time and effort to work unless you know his motivation. You can talk until you are blue in the face about how much money he can make. You can spew statistics and throw all of the figures of dollar signs at him, but without realizing his motivation you may as well talk to a wall. Joe is not stupid, he will not sacrifice his families comfort and support to follow the pipe dream you are trying to sell him. He understands that hard work and passion for his families well being is his job. The most he can hope for is to save up a few dollars to take his wife on a second honeymoon someday. He will see you and all your smooth talk as a threat to all he has worked so hard for. What about the line you have thrown at him would make him trust you enough to sign you as his sponsor?Oh, you may sponsor a few people with your smooth presentation, but if you want to be in it for the long haul, you will need to do better than that. You need to give your whole approach an overhaul. The proper approach is so simple, if you would take time out of your mad dash to sign reps you may actually see it. Average Joe is a person. He has goals, dreams, wants and desires. Instead of pouncing on him with a grand network marketing plan that he will read instantly as a scheme, why not try listening to him? By keeping your mouth shut and your ears open, Joe will eventually give you his goals, his motivations, his wants and needs. He will give you all the information you need to turn around and do your job. By removing yourself from the network marketing persona you can make a friend, while doing your job better than you ever had before. Follow these recommendations and you can grow your business beyond what you thought possible
