SSC CGL (Combined Graduate Level) exam is a conducted for the recruitment of the candidates at Group-B and Group-C in various departments of the Government of India. The conducting authority of SSC CGL is Staff Selection Commission. The SSC CGL exam is about to begin from 1st August 2017 and will be conducted in phases. The SSC CGL aspirants are eagerly waiting for the admit card to get released so that they can plan their arrangements further. SSC CGL Admit Card: The admit card of SSC CGL 2017 exam is scheduled to get released by the commission after 20th July 2017. Around 3 lakh candidates have applied for the exam to be conducted after 1st August which will be of 100 marks in total. The total number of questions would be 100, i.e., 25 questions from each section. The sections comprise of- Quantitative Aptitude, General Intelligence and Reasoning, English Comprehension and General Knowledge. SSC CGL Syllabus:Last year the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) had changed the SSC CGL exam pattern. Earlier, there was two tier exam process followed by the interview. But now the interview has been scrapped, and a third tier has been introduced which is completely subjective in nature. Here are the details of all the tiers- Tier I- In Tier-I, the syllabus for General Intelligence and Reasoning includes the topics like Blood Relations, Syllogism, Seating Arrangement, Coding-Decoding, Non-Verbal Reasoning and much more. The English Language paper includes topics like Spotting Errors, Fill in the Blanks, Verbs, Idioms, and Phrases, Spotting Errors, etc. The Quantitative Aptitude includes the topics like Time and Distance, Time and Work, Percentages, Probability, Averages, Allegation and Mixture, etc. In General Awareness the topics like Current Affairs, History, Economy, Geography, Polity, Science, Environment are there. Tier II- In Tier-Ii also, objective type questions are asked like that of Tier-I. This includes two papers- Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, Statistics and Finance & Accounting/Economics & Governance. Tier III- Tier-III is subjective paper. The candidate can attempt the paper in either Hindi or English. The paper is of 100 marks that are to be completed in 60 minutes. Through this paper, the writing skills of the candidate are checked. The paper comprises of two questions, an Essay of 250 words and Letter Writing of 150 words. Not much time left for the SSC CGL exam.
