Netbooks and their extensions called as tablets are the newest trend in the market nowadays. Everyone seems to be talking about them as these are handy and sleek looking, as well as the touch screen feature present in them offers ease of operation. Although these offer a large number of functions, they are mainly focussed towards providing multimedia and gaming options. These mini laptops or netbook computers are priced lower than normal laptops and offer great battery backups as well. These are usually under $600 and are mostly affordable by everyone. I am crazy about my Samsung GO, my personal netbook computer. When I started looking out for a netbook, I had a plenty of options to choose from like Lenovo, Asus, Toshiba and many more. Since I did not want to go for a very expensive one, I chose to keep my budget till only $400 and was surprised to see that a brand like Samsung was also offering a netbook below that price. There was no turning back. I picked my own netbook at something lesser than $400. Samsung GO comes in a variety of styles and colours and gives you a wide variety to choose from. Optimised for low weight and less price, my notebook has proven to be a blessing to my problem of Spondylitis since it was a big problem for me to carry my big heavy laptop to office daily. This is actually the main reason why people started preferring notebooks to heavy laptops. However it is generally believed in the market that in netbook computers, there is a huge quality difference between high priced models and low priced models. I personally do not think so. Cheaper netbooks are also wonderful gadgets which can perform most functions equally well without any problems. There might just be one small difference between cheaper and more expensive models. This is about the battery life. Cheaper notebooks have less battery life and might need daily charging. This is not so in the case of a more expensive netbook model where the battery quality is seemingly better. One of the cheapest but yet good quality netbook I have seen till date is the MSI Wind U 100. Apparently, this product is priced at a meagre price a bit above $200. This I must say is an extremely comfortable price for most of us. If you are getting value for money why not to buy a netbook computer. If you are prepared to buy your netbook computer, the best thing to do is to keep a lookout for great online deals. In todays world it is difficult to be alive without being connected to the world. Desktop computers would not help solving our purpose when we are on the move all the time. Notebooks and tablets hence offer outstanding connectivity to the user wherever he is. If you are planning to buy a notebook simply because you are on the move all the time, then check out if your choice of notebook is Bluetooth and Wi-Fi compatible. This way you can be connected to the Internet even when you are travelling to distant locations. If you are looking for a good speed as well, then you must choose a good processor like 1.66 Ghz. And then if you are looking for Internet chats as well or your work demands video conferencing, then a web cam is a must. If you keep all these factors in mind, then I am sure selecting your type of netbook computer should be easier than you think.
