Not happy with where you are in life? Not happy with your relationships? Not happy with your finances? Do you want to change it? Your self-image is very closely related to your subconscious mind.If you have failed continually in the past, your subconscious mind has programmed you for failure. You see, the subconscious mind is programmed 1 of 3 ways. By repitition, authority figure or traumatic experience. However, the good news is you can change. You can change your self-image by changing your subconscious mind programming. After all, the subconscious mind cannot distinguish between what's imagined and what's real.Step 1 - Realize You Can Change. The first step in changing your self-image is realizing and believing that you can change. It may not be easy, but with practice it will become automatic, and by repitition, a part of your subconscious mind. You are never too old or too young to change your self-image.Step 2 - Mind Programming Exercise. "IF IT'S GONNA BE, IT'S UP TO ME." Repeat this statement for ten minutes at bedtime. Repeat this exercise before bedtime, with eyes closed, not totally lying down, but propped up in a prone position. Repeat this statement with a sense of certainty. As you make this statement, picture a screen through your mind's eye of yourself EXACTLY AS YOU WANT TO BE.In other words, create a picture of yourself (your image) as you would be if you could snap your fingers and it happened immediately. Not a future self, but a mental image as if you were already that person. As you view the image of yourself on the big screen and repeat the words "IF IT'S GONNA BE, IT'S UP TO ME, squeeze your right hand then release. So here's how the exercise works.a - picture yourself as a perfect you on the big screen;b - say to yourself "IF IT'S GONNA BE, IT'S UP TO ME";c - squeeze your right hand and release (neurolinguistic language programming technique or NLP).Repeat this process about 10 minutes before bedtime (it may seem like 2 hours). Repeat this exercise for 21 days (you should begin to see results in 7 days). What is so powerful about this simple exercise? Simplicity often can have a profound effect. We are boosting the self-image by having self-responsibility. When you remove all blame from your surroundings, your friends, your family, your contacts, your job, your spouse, your relationships, etc., you have total self-responsibility. You realize that your circumstance, whatever that may be, is not up to anyone else. IT'S UP TO YOU.You are programming your mind for full responsibility. Anything short of full responsibility creates an excuse. In summary, we are taking an elevated self-image screen, attaching full responsibilty and anchoring with NLP. This NLP creates an anchor. This anchor of squeezing the right hand can be used when you are faced with situations that may be overwhelming, or when you feel insecure, or lacking confidence. This anchoring will automatically create a perfect mental image of yourself because the subconscious cannot differentiate between what's imagined and what's real. The imagined, perfect mental image of yourself is now anchored with a trigger of squeezing the right hand and can be employed by you at any time. Once this technique is programmed in the subconscious you can turn it on at will.Understanding the psychology of your self-image will mean the difference between success and failure.
