路税还剩半年，MOT也刚做，然而要分开一段时间，保险想回来当前再renew, 期间把车就放在家门口的路边，这样会不会有问题？？？求教一下大家，谢谢:cn08:

You must have motor insurance for your vehicle if you use it on roads and in public places.
You do not need to insure your vehicle if it is kept off the road and declared as off the road (SORN). This rule is called ‘continuous insurance enforcement’.
If not, you could:
get a fixed penalty of £100
have your vehicle wheel-clamped, impounded or destroyed
face a court prosecution, with a possible maximum fine of £1,000

间接把路税cancel掉，Make a SORN (Statutory Off Road Notification) ，回来整个重续，最保险。

我是感觉这车就挺路边2个月，不太平安吧，虽然在本人家旁边

警察不查你就没事儿,要查你你没报SORN同样被罚，不就那几个月时间么，楼主仍是花钱省的找费事啦

我这边有个公家的大院带锁的，能够随意挺，个别的家用轿车均可以长时间停放，在东伦敦。e16,假如有需求私我。

不成以停马路边，你得停公家的drive way或车库外面。
如有意识的人能让你停他们家，你请求SORN，马车停过来半年，回来后整个从新请求。
只能停路边的话，乖乖请求保险吧!
