Steamed Asian pears with rock sugar is a popular traditional Chinese home remedy for cough relief. Ingredients:
Asian pear 3
Yellow rock sugar 25g
Dried white fungus. 3g
Tendril-leaved fritillary bulb 5g
Dried goji berries 20g
Directions:
Soak the white fungus in water for over 1 hourRub the pears with a bit of baking soda and water, rinse offMethod A: wash the soaked white fungus, cut to small pieces into a bowl, get rid of the yellow part; peel a pear, cut the flesh to small pieces, put both the peel and the flesh into the bowl, get rid of the core; add 15g of yellow rock sugar and 100ml of water; Method B: cut off the top part of a pear(about 1/4 to 1/3 of the total height), use a metal spoon to remove the core, fill the hole with 10g of yellow rock sugar, put the top part back; Method C: similar to Method B, with one more ingredient to fill the hole, which is 5g of tendril-leaved fritillary bulbBring a pot of water to a boil, steam for 1 hour, add some dried goji berries 5mins before it’s done食材:

把木耳浸水中1小时以上梨用小苏打和少量水擦洗,冲洗干净A:把浸泡后的白木耳洗干净剪成小片,丢黄色部分,梨去皮,梨肉切小块,梨皮放入碗中,弃核, 加15克黄冰糖和100ml水;B:在梨的顶部1/4-1/3处切开,挖出梨核, 填入10克黄冰糖,盖上顶部;C:同B,只是多加5克川贝烧开一锅水,蒸1小时,关火前5分钟加入一些枸杞
