We propose here a nice trip:Arrival is at the international airportin Malaga. Fora real vacation, you first have to "arrive"; maybe going for a walkin the area or hit the beach, depending on the weather.Next day we drive west of Malaga, to Ronda, Arcos and Jerez de la Frontera.Along the road of the "white villages" youwill learn about the unique nature reserves in the region. White houses tightly nestled together, form gorgeousvillages along strongly sloping hillsides, surrounded by an incomparablenature. In Ronda you can admire the spectacular gorge of the 100 m high"New Bridge" from the 19th Century. The destination of today´strip is Jerez de la Frontera, capital of theSherry.Next day, do not miss to visit the winery of Williams& Humbert, where you can sample the many varieties of Sherry and the RoyalSpanish Riding School, where are trained the pure-bred Spanish horses.Around noon you travel to Puerto de Santa María, one ofthe cities with the best fish and seafood specialties. Thehighlight of the city of Cordoba is the cathedral mosque, one of the landmarksof Islamic architecture, the Jewish Quarter and the Synagogue of the MiddleAges. At noon, you should not miss to eat in atypical old tavern. In the afternoon you can stroll through the beautifulstreets of the city of flowers and enjoy the flair of the city.The next day we continue to Ubeda,Baeza and Granada. Drive to Granada passing by the two Renaissance citiesof Ubeda and Baeza. If you have time, definitely you should stay another day inGranada, as there is so much to see: the Alhambra, the Albaycin and in any caseyou must try the famous tapas.From Granada to Malaga it is only 124 km, we are thusfast back again at the coast and can enjoy extensively the mild Mediterraneanclimate; Malaga has as well a lot to offer!
