Its astounding to know that one of the most fast paced cities of the world was once bought from the Native Americans in only $24 (the Island of Manhattan). Who wouldnt want to have a New York of their own now? Also due to the Dutch living over there back in the times, The Island of Manhattan was actually called New Amsterdam and was a very successful Dutch seaport. It enjoys the status of being one of the largest cities of the world, the business capital. If you ever make it to New York, try visiting its museums and landmarks and famous historical sites. However most importantly learn to live the city, breathe the city and eat the city. Teach him how to live life the hard way.Suffering from one of the worlds major calamities, 9/11, New York is believed to be a survivor as it came out of the catastrophe, lost several of its loyal citizens and started rebuilding. Although several controversies are involved with what happened, one thing is undeniably true; it was a sorry day in history and by the end of the day, people died and lost their loved ones. It is highly believed that if New York would not have suffered such a huge loss, it surely would have been a different place to live in but nevertheless, New York still retains its charm and glory and that attractiveness that pulls everybody towards it; after all its the Big Apple awaiting.
