The City of Arts and Sciences or La Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias is a great place for learning and fun for young and old alike.The beaches of Castellon in the north of the region also attract Spanish visitors and of the three provinces of Valencia it is the least affected by foreign influence. With a mountainous hinterland it is an area totally different, full of enchanting villages that appear almost frozen in time. Each summer the hamlet of Benicassim just north of Castellon draws a few thousand young music fans and those in their HOLIDAY VILLAS IN VALENCIA to a world music festival filled with A-list stars. It is the Spanish equivalent of Glastonbury but with much better weather.
