Here are several of them that you might be interested in.Bedruthan StepsThis largesandy beach that is not suitable for swimming. There are strong currents which might be dangerous. The beach is brokenby majestic granite outcrops which make some areas of the beach inaccessibleduring high tide and puts you in danger of being cut-off from the main beach.Access to the beach is through very steep steps which is inaccessible for wheelchairs and push chairs. The steps are closed to the public during winter as itis quite dangerous but reopens on 1st March. Parking is available atthe National Trust Car park and during summer, at a privately run car park aswell. Snacks and meals are available at the National Trust Tea Room that alsohas toilet facilities. You can alwaysbring your own food from your self-catering Padstow holiday cottagesthough. This dog-friendlybeach is recommended for those who want a quieter beach during the busy months.Port Gaverne, Port Isaac & Port QuinPortGaverne is a protected but narrow cove that shows plenty of sand during lowtide. Families love going to this beachsince there are plenty of rock pools for the kids to explore. Port Isaac Village and Beach is right nearbyand you can park at their parking area as well as at Port Isaac beach itselfduring low tide. It is just a few minutes away from your Padstow holiday cottages.Port Quinis also a protected but narrow beach which is located on the eastern portion ofPort Isaac. On the west is a beautiful area for walking. Parking is at a smallNational Trust car park and also at port Isaac during low tide.There arealso cafés, restaurants, pubs and shops where you can buy your food and otherneeds at port Isaac. Dogs are allowed at all three beaches throughout the year.Boobys BayBoobys Bayis a wide sandy beach that is popular with surfers. It is located one half milenorth of Constantine Bay. Constantine Bay and Boobys Bay are both beautifulcrescents of golden sand which combine and form one long beach during low tide.You can access the beach by going down from the coast path or walking along thebeach during low tide from any of the two beaches that flank it. Surfing isrecommended only for the experienced surfers. During high tide, however, access and surfing at the beach is notavailable for about 2 hours as the beach is submerged. There are lifeguardspatrolling the beach from late May to late September. Parking is at TreyarnonBay or Constantine Bay. You need to walk the coast path to Boobys Bay as thereis no direct access from the car park to Boobys Bay. You can find toiletfacilities available at Constantine Bay.
