Like any American, traveling occasionally is just what I love doing and I bet you share the same stuff with me. But traveling does not mean that you would be safe. Escaping from our job and other stressful activities is just something that w Torres del Paine is among the biggest of Chiles national parks, occupying almost 600,000 acres (242,000 ha) of land in the south on the border with Argentina. If you are planning an away break when booking HOLIDAY VILLAS IN VALENCIA, make the reservations in August as this is fiesta season in Spain. Almost every village, town or city is alive with parties, shows, parades and fireworks plus a lot more but when you add ancient traditions and modern activities you come up with a glorious mix. Its sad to say but most tourists dont get to experience a fiesta for this activity is proof of Spains individuality and the inestimably value of their culture. All this offers you the opportunity to examine the society and how it functions within the laid back lifestyle of this unbelievable race of people. If you have to ask what a fiesta is then dont ask: just go out and experience one but dont equate a fiesta with a village fair back home in England because you would be wrong. First and foremost fiesta means nothing more than party and party they do. For the most part fiestas are the same throughout Spain but in the Valencia province the main fiesta celebrated in the little village of Barx carries on for a week with one and all being welcomed to join in.During the Barx festival the children are looked after with an array of activities such as animation groups, childrens theatre, street decorations and a little aquatic fun. After the kids there is swimming championship, bonsai exhibitions and traditional dance with a Ukrainian band. The young people are looked after as well with their own day starting with breakfast in a specified cafe, lunch, card games and a disco. They are also treated to a fancy dress parade and at midnight there is another disco. Next on the agenda is the OAPs day with their own parade through the village that also includes the local authorities but its not finished as theres a variety show and disco in the offing. Sometime on day five of the Fiesta of Lady of Carmel and Sacred Heart, there is a collection of representatives of the council and then there is a holy mass honouring the Lady of Carmel and the Sacred Heart. Next come a collection of the authorities by the band of Barx leading to a solemn procession and finished off with a dance to live music at midnight. Now its day six the day of Sam Miguel Barxs patron saint. Its now time for another holy mass, mascaleta, a solemn procession and, of course, a big firework display with sounds from a big band. On the final day of the Divine Shepherdess you have to get up early usually at seven oclock as this is going to be one big day. It all starts with ringing of bells, a parade of authorities, a solemn mass, inauguration of the new building, a parade with band and village folk. This celebration in Barx is what we call a fiesta. When you arrive at your HOLIDAY VILLAS IN VALENCIA you have to give credit to the locals: from the oldest to the youngest almost every person in the village takes part in this fiesta. No matter what age you are there is something here for you to enjoy. The most import thing to remember is get lots of rest before you attend this fiesta as it carries on until the sun comes up with live bands and lots of dancing. The afternoons offer some respite to all the activities so if possible get a nap so you can carry on.
