The village is pretty civilized with all the required amenities for the traveler. These days, the Circum-Baikal Railway is selected by tourists who want to experience a quiet route while taking in the solitude of the place. This railway was a big challenge for the Russian imperial government considering that tunnels and bridges were made by human hands and not machines as we do in the current civilization.
