Routeburn TrackThe Routeburn track is a spectacular alpine trek that links Fiordland and Mount Aspiring National Parks. The 2-4 day 32km track goes through beautiful beech forests and crosses an alpine pass with the snow capped peaks of the Southern Alps surrounding it.3. Abel Tasman Coastal TrackLocated on the beautiful northern coastline of New Zealand's South Island, the Abel Tasman Coastal Track follows the coast of Abel Tasman National Park. This 3-5 day 54km trek can be walked in either direction, and provides some amazing coastal scenery.4. Tongariro CrossingThe Tongariro Crossing is known as one of the best one day hikes in the world. This incredible trek climbs up and over the volcanic terrain of Mount Tongariro, passing several craters, springs and forests on the lower slopes. This alpine trek provides some incredible rugged scenery and great views of the craters and volcanic lakes of Mount Tongariro and the other volcanoes surrounding it.5.
