If you're looking for something more active though you can also enjoy a horseback ride through the canyons and make your own meandering way along the Pecos River at sunrise and enjoy the beauty of the new day without the hustle and bustle of the crowd.This is also an ideal area for those who want to capture the white tailed deer coming down to the water at night or capture the herd of buffalo making their way through tall grasslands surrounding area with the use of photography instead of guns.
