Like any American, traveling occasionally is just what I love doing and I bet you share the same stuff with me. But traveling does not mean that you would be safe. Escaping from our job and other stressful activities is just something that w Torres del Paine is among the biggest of Chiles national parks, occupying almost 600,000 acres (242,000 ha) of land in the south on the border with Argentina. It is also among the most important, receiving a significant proportion of domes
There are a number of Gibbons around in Thailand and a large population of them are in the Khao Sok national park, they are a type of ape. Gibbons can be found in other parts of Thailand's forests but you won't find more then in Khao Sok. They are also refered to as the lesser apes because of there smaller size compared to the orangutans, bonobos, gorillas and chimpanzees. The Gibbon also comes in a dark to light brown fur color depending on the species. There have been a few completely white ones, but they are usually rare. Also Gibbons usually bond in pairs which the other ape species don;t soand superficially more closely resemble monkeys than great apes.Sadly most of the species are threatened or endandered due to losing there forest habitat. But in Khao sok they are thriving and are one of the favourite animals with the locals and tourists in Thailand.Gibbons are surprisingly a social animal, if you do encounter them they are usually quite frienly creaures. But Gibbons can be territorial between themselves with visual and vocal displays to defend their boundariers. Their used to be pouchers in mnay parts of Thailand many years ago, but now they are a lot more loved by the locals have seemed to stop in this wildlife trade, but sadly you do see cases from time to time of people being caught for illegally selling the body parts for traditional medicine. If your in Thailand on holiday or even here as an Expat and you want to see Gibbons naturally in the wild, Khao Sok is the best place by far to see these amazing creatures. You can also see some in Kanchanaburi and Chiang Mai, but not as many as what you will see in Khao Sok.
