Like any American, traveling occasionally is just what I love doing and I bet you share the same stuff with me. But traveling does not mean that you would be safe. Escaping from our job and other stressful activities is just something that w Torres del Paine is among the biggest of Chiles national parks, occupying almost 600,000 acres (242,000 ha) of land in the south on the border with Argentina. It is also among the most important, receiving a significant proportion of domes
Next morning after our jungle walk around Khao Sok Nationa Park. We were expecting to see the Rafflesia flower but were disappointed because it only bloom between late January to early February. It's too early to see it at this time. So we decided to go to Chiaw Lan Lake instead. Chiaw Lan Lake or Ratchaprapa dam is one of top attraction of Khao Sok National Park. I heard a lot of stories telling how beautiful it is so I didn't want to miss it.It took about 60 kilomieters drive from the park headquarter until we got to boat trip. The fresh air of the park made me feel like I didn't want to go back to live with high pollution in Bangkok again. Along the boat trip, I could see the water in the lake in emerald green. The scenery was just stunning with hundreds of islands that emerged from the water. The boat owner stopped at a rafthouse and asked us if anyone wanted to do some activities. We chose to swim in the lake. The water was a bit cold but we had really good time. Then we had lunch at that rafthouse and the food was so nice. After lunch we took time to relax and took lots of photos for a while then it was time for kayaking. There were two kayaks for four of us. We never be on kayak before but it's not hard to paddle. On the way, we spotted some animals along the banks such as gibbons, mouse deers, hornbills, some birds I'd never seen before and etc. It took about an hour before we're tired. We headed back to the rafthouse and rode the boat back to the land. It took us all day at Ratchprapa dam but it was worth it!Overall this was one of my favorite trip. I had a good time to catch up with my old friends and enjoyed beautiful places. Thailand still has a lot of things to see and many unseen places waiting for us to discover.
