Like any American, traveling occasionally is just what I love doing and I bet you share the same stuff with me. But traveling does not mean that you would be safe. Escaping from our job and other stressful activities is just something that w Torres del Paine is among the biggest of Chiles national parks, occupying almost 600,000 acres (242,000 ha) of land in the south on the border with Argentina. It is also among the most important, receiving a significant proportion of domes
It had always been my dream to go to Paris since I can remember, so can you believe my surprise when I found out I had a one day stopover before heading to London on a business trip. I was both ecstatic and a little disappointed because I wondered what I could do in a dayit turns out a lot! When I landed I was whisked away by the free shuttle service provided by the Hilton Hotel Charles de Gaulle. They had a foyer that reminded me of a Blade Runner filmcheck out the website and youll see. I asked the concierge where to go and he gave me a helpful list of must-see placesboy was I happy to meet him. After quickly freshening up, I strolled over to the RER station, about five minutes walk, and headed straight into towna short train ride away. My first stop was The Odessa Cafe for a croissant and a cafe au lait, which I was told was an exceptional crossroad cafe to watch the world go by. After wolfing down two more pastries and grabbing a copy of Le Monde I headed south west into the city centre. I was amazed at the sheer majesty of this city. Luckily I had my company credit card, and so I hired a chauffeur for the day that raced me around the city like a Formula one driver. Being a huge Victor Hugo fan, I was thrilled to see his inspiration for The Hunchback of Notre Dame first hand at the Notre-Dame Cathedral. Afterwards, I visited the Chateau de Chantilly, Louvre Museum, Musee d'Orsay and of course the Eiffel Tower.I ended my day dining at Le Grand Véfour overlooking the Palais Royal and enjoyed a scrumptious Filet dagneau à la sariette (steak). Paris really can be seen in a day if you know where to go and whentraffic varies during certain times of the day. After a dream day in Paris I packed my things at the Hotel CDG and flew to Londonwhat and adventure.
