Day 1 – Arrive DelhiMeeting and greetings on arrival at Delhi’s international airport and transfer to the hotel for overnight stay. Day 2 – Delhi to AmritsarAfter an early breakfast at the hotel transfer to New Delhi Railway Station to board Superfast Shatabdi Express train for Amritsar at 7.20 AM/ Arrive Amritsar at 1.25 PM. Meeting on arrival and transfer to the hotel for check in. After little relax at the hotel visit Amritsar - one of the most important Sikh pilgrimage in the country. Religious, historical as well as contemporary sites of importance characterize the city. At the Golden Temple, the Sikhs from across the globe come to pay their reverence to Guru Granth Sahib and take a dip in the Amrit Saras Kund (Pool of Immortality) for spiritual purification is the major landmark of the place. The Jallianwala Bagh is a memorial of the martyrs of the 1919 massacre by the British General Dyer. Today, here one finds a small gallery with photos of key personalities involved in the 1919 freedom struggle, the well into which the crowds jumped to escape the murderous hail of bullets and a simple memorial at the site that shaped India's destiny, The Durgiana Mandir is a beautiful temple dedicated to Goddess Durga. The Baba Atal Rai Tower, close to the main town, is believed to be the spot where Guru Har Gobind died. Late afternoon excursion to Wagah border (28 km) - on the Indo-Pakistan border where tourists throng to see the change of guards ceremony by the border security forces of both the countries. Overnight stay at the hotel. Day 3 – Amritsar to DharamsalaEarly in the morning pay another visit to the Golden Temple. Later after breakfast at the hotel proceed to reach Dharamsala in around 6 hours time. Check in at the hotel on arrival.Dharamsala : The British first discovered the little hill station some 150 years ago, and shifted their civil administration and cantonment to Mcleodganj. Than an earthquake in 1905 forced the British to shift to lower Dharamsala. Mcleodganj relapsed into obscurity till 1960, when the exiled 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet settled down here. From the day the Dalai Lama stepped into his temporary home, the abandoned summer mansion of one of Lahore’s gentry (Raj Bahadur Gopal Das ) that is now the Indian Mountaineering Institute, Mcleodganj has never looked back. Overnight at the hotel.Day 4 – At DharamsalaMorning after breakfast at the hotel proceed to visit Dharamsala. During your sightseeing tour you will visit Tsuglakhang – The Dalai Lama’s residence, with his private office and temple, is so unobtrusive that it blends effortlessly into the landscape. This two storied elegant temple with its large squire overlooking his palace was built without chopping a single tree. The temple is said to be original replica of the original Tsuglakhang, the main temple in Lhasa. Namgyaima Stupa, Church of St John-in-the-Wilderness, Dal Lake etc.If time permits you may chose to go for hike in surrounding hills. Overnight at the hotel.Day 5 – Dharamsala to Manali – 6 to 7 hoursMorning after breakfast at the hotel proceed to Manali and check in at the HOTEL on arrival. Afternoon explore Manali town on your own and also visit Hadimba Temple - Hadimba or Dhungiri temple in Manali is one of the most important temples in the region. This four-story wooden temple is located in the middle of a forest called the Dhungiri Van Vihar.Day 6 – At ManaliMorning after breakfast at the hotel excursion to Rohtang Pass. Rohtang Pass is the highest point, 4,112m, on the Manali-Keylong road, 51-km from Manali town. It provides a wide panoramic view of mountains rising far above clouds, which is a sight truly breath-taking.   Afternoon visit - Tibetan Temple: Tibetans have a base in Manali too. There is a large modern Tibetan temple to the South of the bus stand and also a small handicrafts center and Vashisth Hot Sulphur Springs - This small village near Manali is famous for its scenic beauty. The village has a temple dedicated to Lord Rama and Vashisth Muni. You may like to go for sulphur wash which is said to be good for skin deceases.Day 7 – At ManaliFull day free for self exploration of Manali. Overnight at the hotel.Day 8 – Manali to Manikaran to KulluMorning after breakfast at the hotel drive to Manikaran (around 3 hours). Manikaran - High up under the snowy peaks, of the Parvati Valley is situated the hot springs at Manikaran. The water from the steaming springs is noted for its healing properties. The springs in the area are hot enough to boil rice in it. Manikaran, a place of pilgrimage for Hindus and Sikhs, has a temple and a gurudwara. It is also a good spot for trout fishing. Sri Ramchandra temple is located in the center of the town and one can have a very good look in and around this temple. The Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Gurudwara provides some extraordinary sights. One can enjoy a dip in the hot waters from the springs. There are altogether three baths, one is located under the Gurudwara itself and the other two are privately owned and located in guesthouses. Drive back to Kullu later and check into the hotel for overnight stay.Day 9 – Kullu to ShimlaMorning after breakfast at the hotel proceed to Shimla to reach in around 5 hours time through beautiful country roads. Arrive Shimla and check in at HOTEL.  Rest of the day free to explore the mall of Shimla. Overnight at the hotel.Shimla : A quaint little hill train chugs up into the Shivalik foothills, over dramatic loops and high arched bridges to the hill resort of Shimla (2130 m) - the capital of the mountain state of Himachal.Shimla was one a string of hill stations that the British established to escape from the scorching heat of the plains. The 12 km, crescentshaped ridge on which it is located was first occupied by the British troops, in the early part of the 19th century, during the Anglo-Gurkha War.The little village of Shymala, a retreat for British officers, soon grew to become the glamorous summer capital of the British, in India.Day 9 - At ShimlaMorning after breakfast at the hotel proceed for full day tour of Shimla and its surroundings.  During your Shimla tour you will see The Mall, Viceregal Lodge, Museum, Jakhoo Hill (temple), Annandale, Glen and Summer Hill. Rest of the time is left free for your independent activities. Overnight at the hotel.Day 10 – Shimla to ChandigarhMorning after breakfast at the hotel drive to Chandigarh in around 3 hours time. Arrive and check in at the hotel. Afternoon visit Chandigarh.Chandigarh is the first man made city post independence of India.
