The Teton mountain range rises more than 7,000 feet above Jackson Hole valley and creates a backdrop that is awe inspiring and absolutely beautiful. The parks elevation ranges from 6400 feet on the valleys floor to an amazing almost 14,000 feet on the summit. The mountains are covered in forests and the Snake River makes its way through the valley.During the winter, Jackson Hole is freezing and full of snow and bitter cold.
