France, remains, popular, despite travel, insurance France remains popular despite the fact it is full of French
Torres del Paine is among the biggest of Chiles national parks, occupying almost 600,000 acres (242,000 ha) of land in the south on the border with Argentina. It is also among the most important, receiving a significant proportion of domes Like any American, traveling occasionally is just what I love doing and I bet you share the same stuff with me. But traveling does not mean that you would be safe. Escaping from our job and other stressful activities is just something that w
If you look at the travel statistics you will see that France is always one of the top tourist destinations. This is amazing when you consider the fact that the French people don't seem in the least bit interested in attracting tourists. Sometimes it feels that they tolerate tourists like other countries tolerate an invasion of swarms of mosquito. The French know that they live in a beautiful country and that their culture is the envy of the world; they don't need foreigners coming and telling them how great they are. I know that I'm being unfair here and that the French can be some of the friendliest people on the planet. It is just that their national pride can sometimes make them seem a bit aloof. When you get to know them I'm sure they would walk over hot coals to help you. It is just that in places like Paris they are so used to seeing tourists coming to âohhâ and âahhâ and telling the locals how wonderful the place is, it is probably no surprise that French can become a bit weary of it all. Another great bone of contention with the French is their language. There is probably no other country in the world that takes their language as seriously as the French. They actually employ people to ensure that no foreign words creep into their language and they get upset when other people attempt to speak it without being fluent. If you want to learn to speak French don't do it in France because they will despise you until the day you speak it flawlessly. To be fair, it is a nice language and even asking where the toilet is sounds sophisticated when you say it in French. If you want to annoy the French just speak to them loudly in English and if you really want to rile them insist on paying for things in American dollars. When it comes to food and fashion you really can't beat France for sophistication. In fact it sometimes feels like you need a university degree in art to be able to appreciate what has been put in front of you on your plate. French food is not the type of thing you stuff in your mouth in front of TV. These are meals that you are meant to savor and say interesting things about as you are eating it. When it comes to fashion it is also hard to beat this European nation and even the homeless in Paris doorways seem fashionable. Despite the French their country is likely to remain the most popular tourist destination on the planet. The truth is that we all wish we could be as self-confident and proud of our culture as the people in France. They have their own peculiar French way of doing things and if you don't like it then that is your problem. The reason why the culture of that country is so interesting is that they just refuse to change it for anyone.
