Jarrod Lucas, a reporter on the Kalgoorlie Miner (known commonly as The Miner), a daily newspaper circulating in the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder and the Goldfields-Esperance region, published a story about the Australian communications company NewSat, which is to date the continents largest provider of independent satellite communications/communications satellite (COMSAT), or the artificial satellite stationed in space for the purpose of telecommunications.NewSat-owned Jabiru is Australias first independently owned satellite operator to manage a fleet of commercial Ku band and Ka band satellites.
