For example, some of the most common light fittings are the Edison Screw, which is abbreviated to E27. Anything with a beam angle less 90 degrees is generally considered a spotlight and is suitable for directional lighting schemes. Anything more than this will be classified as general illumination, which includes floodlighting and single-bulb schemes.
