Now we are goingto learn how to make a basketball courts image by the help of Corel Draw.The firstthing you must know that which tools you are going to use for the basketballcourt, so here are the tools names:· Pick Tool (spacebar)· Rectangular Tool (F6)· Ellipse Tool (F7)· 2-Point Line Tool· Color palette· Text Tool (F8)· Parallel Dimension ToolNow with thehelp of these tools, we will make a perfect basketball court, explaining thedimensions of the live basketballcourt too.Step 1: Draw arectangle with the help of rectangular tool. The shortcut key for this tool is F6.Now press space bar to select the rectangle and fill orange color from thecolor palette. To fill the color in the rectangle use left mouse button and tochange the color of the outline use right mouse button. Step2: Draw astraight line in the center of the rectangle by using 2-point line tool.Step 3: Nowselect the Ellipse tool. From the property bar you can change the value. Bydefault the value will be 270 degrees. Change it to 180 degrees because we wantto draw a semi circle. Draw a semi circle and then rotate it so that the baseline of the semi circle could be equivalent to the left side line of therectangle. Select the semi circle and press Ctrl + D. You will get a copy ofthe selected shape. Now use mirroring effect from the property bar and dragthis semi circle to the right side of the rectangle.Step 4:Following the same method as mentioned in step 2, draw a small semi circle insuch a way that the center point of the curved line should touch the center ofthe big semi-circles curved line. Use mirroring techniques for right side too.Step 5: Selectthe small semi-circle and press Ctrl + D. drag the copy at the center of therectangle, touching the line drawn at the center of the rectangle. Take anothercopy use mirroring and place it on the side of center line, equal as the othersemi-circle is placed.Step 6: Usetext tool and click on the line where you want to adjust the text. Write yourtext and define standard dimensions of the live basketball court. If you justwant to mention the dimensions of the image you have drawn, you can useparallel dimension tool and Angular dimension tool.Note: if the color palette is not availableat the right side of the interface, you can go to windows menu and move themouse pointer over the default color palette option, a menu will appear you canselect CMYK color palette or any other.
