Adidas launched the world's first pair of seamless running shoes. Once you arrived the top of mountain, you would see the mountains are little. The phrase of classic statement from the poem Du Fu has become the motto of many Donkey Friends. For one it is very convenient. Football jerseys come in different colors and designs. There are so many things that separate one shirt from another. Searching for the right shirt requires a little help. With a search engine, that is easy. Wh
Almost all sports has an iconic player that represents them. Like when you think of the history of baseball, one of the first, if not the first, name that comes to mind is Babe Ruth. He is undoubtedly the face of and poster boy for baseball and is consider the most exciting baseball player of all time. Basketball has Michael Jordan. Hockey has Wayne Gretzky. Football has... well I'm not sure football has a clear cut Babe Ruth. But let us take a look out of the NFL football history and find out who is NFL footballs Babe Ruth1. Is it Joe Montana? Montana won 4 Super Bowls with the 49ers, and was named Super Bowl MVP 3 times. He also has the most playoff wins by a quarterback in NFL history.2. Is it Jim Brown? Brown led the NFL in all-purpose yards a record five times, and left the NFL as the all time leader in almost every major statistical rushing category.3. Is it Barry Sanders? Sanders is considered one of the most exciting players of all time. If he wanted it, he would be the NFL's all time leading rusher, but he retired notoriously retired early at the age of 31 while still healthy.4. Is it Walter Payton? Payton is often seen as the benchmark by which all other running backs are measured. Sweetness was a dominant force throughout his career, winning Super Bowl XX along the way.5. Is it Jerry Rice? Take a look at the record books and it is laughable how far ahead Rice is in every receiving category. Rice was also named the greatest player in NFL history by NFL Films and NFL.com. He is a three time Super Bowl winner and one time Super Bowl MVP.You may have noticed that I didn't put any defensive players on the list. Remember, this isn't a list of the greatest players of all time, and the NFL is an offense driven league, especially in the eyes of casual fans. I don't think the general public would accept a defensive player as the face of the NFL. In fact, in a 2010 NFL poll, fans did not put a single defensive player in the top ten players of all time. There are several more names that could make this list and it would be hard for anyone to disagree with any of them. There are some players in this new generation too that can make the list. Like Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers or Peyton Manning. My point is there is no clear cut answer on who is the poster boy for the NFL football world. But who cares? That is why I love NFL compare to other sports. It has this exciting ability of mercurial rise and fall of teams and players which make everything unpredictable.
