Adidas launched the world's first pair of seamless running shoes. Once you arrived the top of mountain, you would see the mountains are little. The phrase of classic statement from the poem Du Fu has become the motto of many Donkey Friends. For one it is very convenient. Football jerseys come in different colors and designs. There are so many things that separate one shirt from another. Searching for the right shirt requires a little help. With a search engine, that is easy. Wh
Golf handicaps are used to make thegame of golf more competitive for golfers with different skilllevels. I was introduced to the game of golf by a friend who was anavid golfer and, of course, I was a beginner therefore there was noway I could even consider beating him in the game of golf. When Ihad reached what I call the advanced beginner stage my friendintroduced me to the concept of handicapping. With handicapping, thegame was more competitive for both of us.There is a standard system ofhandicapping that is used for tournament play on all golf courses. This system is quite complicated and takes into account the golfersaverage score, the course ratings (total par for the course) for thecourses played and the slope rating (course difficulty) for eachcourse played. Computer software is used for this calculation and this system is always used to establish your official handicap. For casual, non-tournament golf playwhere the players have not established an official handicap, here isan unofficial system that I find quite useful.Keep track of your score and thecourse rating (total par for the course) every time you play golf.Take the difference between yourscore and the course rating.Calculate the average of the 10best of your last 20 differences (or the best half of thedifferences you have recorded if less than 20) and multiply by 96%(drop everything after the 1st decimal place). The maximumallowable handicap is 36 .4 for men and 40.4 for womenCompare the result with the othergolfers who are playing. The lowest average receives nohandicap. All other golfers have a handicap which is the differencebetween their average and the lowest average. Each player subtracts theirhandicap from their total score to determine the winner (if matchplay, apply the handicap first to the number 1 difficulty hole thennumber 2, etc.)The group could agree on whetherto do the above calculations using the gross score or adjusted grossscore (described below)Adjusted Gross scoreThe gross score isthe total strokes for 18 holes. The adjusted gross score places acap on the number of strokes counted on any hole for handicappingpurposes to eliminate the effect of a disaster hole when calculatinga handicap. Equitable Stroke Control (ESC) rules are used todetermine the maximum strokes per hole based on your Course Handicapas calculated in # 3 above.CourseHandicapMaximum Score0-9 - DoubleBogey10-19 - 720-29 - 830-39 - 940 or more - 10If you are doingthis for the 1st time use the maximum handicap, 36.4 formen and 40.4 for women.http://thegolfhills.com Article Tags: Adjusted Gross Score, Gross Score, Adjusted Gross
