Former Kansas City Chiefs All Pro running back, Christian Okoye, will make a personal appearance for autograph signing at the West Ridge Mall in Topeka, KS on October 23rd 2004 from 11am to 2.00pm.Okoye, AKA "The Nigerian Nightmare" played many great games in his seven-year career as a Kansas City Chief. He went on to set records in rushing yardage and touchdowns for the 43-year old franchise and became the Chiefs all time leading rusher. His appearance is in conjunction with the Mo-Ark Sports Card and Collectible Show being held in the mall from Friday October 22nd to Sunday October 24th. In addition to his stats he collected a number of awards after the season: named Running Back of the Year, First team All-Pro, voted AFC Player of the Year by the NFL Players Association, received the Mackie Award for most touchdowns by an AFC player, voted Chiefs' Most Valuable Player, the Quarterback Club named him NFL MVP and won the Ed Block Courage award, one of the most prestigious awards in football.
