The Vietnam War was coming to an end, the economy was growing stronger, and technology was on its way to being one of the biggest industries.Along with the advancements, good paying jobs were becoming easier to find.Wages were steadily rising.There was the opportunity for good retirement plansBetter health care coverage for employees and their dependents.Then suddenly in the early 80's, it came to a streaking halt.Many workers who had thought they had found financial security were in danger of losing all they had worked to achieve.Some were lucky enough to hang on for the "ride", while others were not so fortunate.
