Awhile ago, I got an email from one of the "gurus" I follow and it shocked me. The gist of it was this person wanted to trade services for a household item.To say it floored me would be an understatement. What was worse was a few days later t Automation technologies represent a fundamental aspect of any modern industry. The major types of industrial automation solutions, such as DCS, PLC, SCADA, and MES, are used on a large-scale in process and discrete industries.DCS technologie
Remember that fun game we played as children...Pin the Tailon the Donkey? You know, we would take turns beingblindfolded and twisted around a few times before attemptingto pin a cardboard tail onto a donkey attached to the wall.Being blindfolded, it was fairly difficult to accuratelyattach the tail. We would usually miss the mark numeroustimes before we pinned it in the proper place. Or,sometimes, we never found the proper place and just gave upin disgust. While that may have been a fun game as children, as adultstrying to do business on the web, it's not so much fun.And yet, I see many people playing the grown-up version ofthis game...Pin the Tail on the Web Marketing Donkey.Yep, they line up to take their turn being blindfolded andtwisted around on the internet. There are so many "sureshots" and "guarantees" and "you need this product or thisservice" online, good grief it's hard to imagine anyone everfinding the right spot. With so many schemes, scams and shams online blinding mostinexperienced and intermediate web marketers, it is fairlydifficult to accurately "attach the tail" with any kind ofsuccess. And so, what happens? Most people miss the mark numeroustimes (you know, they send out their ad to 50 millionmembers of a "safe list," post to a few hundred thousand FFApages and generally get taken in with all kinds of "webpromotion.") before finding that place where things reallydo fit, or they never find it at all.And they give up in disgust and become another statistic inthe 95% of online businesses that fail.Surely there is an easier way.Actually there is. And I'm about give you 6 quick LAWS toLIVE BY if you really want to stop walking around blindlyonline and finally find the promised success you've beenreading about...Law #1: Don't Quit Your Day Job. The first thing you needto understand is that Rome wasn't built in a day.Translation: Your internet success isn't going to happenovernight. Too many people think that jumping online issome kind of magic potion that turns anyone into a six-figure income producer in the next 7 days. It doesn'thappen that way - and stay away from anyone who tells you itdoes! If you are just starting out, plan on six months toayear of developing your eBusiness before it's time to evenTHINK about cutting ties with the "real world."Law #2: Set Reasonable, Reachable Goals. Having realized itis going to take six months or longer...don't despair.Sounds like an incredibly long time right now, doesn't it?Don't be discouraged, be realistic. Allen Says of theWarriors didin't become a success overnight. Ken Evoy ofSiteSell didn't do it. Terry Dean, Lee Benson and dare Isay, Jimmy D. Brown - none of us became successes in thefirst few weeks. And yet, each of us RIGHT NOW are pullingin full-time incomes from the web. They key is to simplytake your time. Set "mini" goals that you can reach eachday and week. Arm yourself with a plan and take "baby"steps until you reach the goal. I assure you, with properplanning, you WILL be successful.Law #3: Find a Good Map. So, what kind of goals should youset? Is there a "checklist" you can follow to mark yourprogress? Just like any journey in life, if you want tomake sure you are headed in the right direction...you need amap. Trust me, no one wants to play LEWIS AND CLARK onlineand try to create their own map...way too much trouble.Youneed someone who has already been there, someone who hasalready made their way through the maze and knows how to getto the top. Do your research. And here is what I wouldtell you to look for: Find a web marketing product thatoffers ONGOING SUPPORT. More than just manuals andinformation, you need someone you can ask questions to whenyou find you don't understand. You need someone who isgoing to be available to give you consultation when you needto be pointed in the right direction. Don't purchase aproduct from someone who is just going to take your moneyand never return your emails after that. Find someone whowill HELP you along the way. (There ARE those who offerthis service. If you need a recommendation, then email meat [email protected])Law #4: Understand WHAT To Promote. Learn this truthimmediately...you need your own product. You need somethingto promote online that you are able to sell and keep 100%ofthe profits for yourself. Don't let anyone kid you, thepeople who earn the most money online are the ones whocontrol the products and services. Sure, affiliate programsare great to promote. And I do that myself. However, affiliate programs are best used to work the back-end, ascomplementary products, not as your main product.Information products in eBook form are the best to sellonline. Believe it or not, with the right map, you'll becranking out your own product in just a few short weeks.Law #5: Seek Support Along the Way. I've already touched onthis a bit earlier, but you need ONGOING support. You canfind this through your web marketing "mentor" that youpurchase products from, but you can also find help in manyother ways. Visit the message boards and forums to ask yourquestions and seek advice. You'll receive free counselfroma variety of experienced marketers at these sites. Contactthe owners of websites that you are considering purchasingtheir product. Ask them preliminary questions about theirproduct as it pertains to the area you need guidance in.Visit the major search engines and search for keywords andphrases pertaining to your question. Don't be afraid to askquestions. After all, you need some help pinning that tailon the donkey!Law #6: Launch an Affiliate Program. Once you've developedyour own product and have gotten a feel for how things workonline, THE NUMBER ONE thing you can do to generate seriousincome is to launch your own affiliate program. You arejust ONE person. There is only so much advertising you canafford. There is only so much marketing and promotion youcan do single-handedly. There are limits and boundariesthat you simply can't exceed as one person. However, combinethe marketing power of thousands of other people and you'llsee your profits skyrocket. I don't know any highlysuccessfuly website online that doesn't offer an affiliateprogram. It is THE single best thing you can do to generatesales. Hands down. No question about it. Period.
