The presentation focused on home Skills for Caregivers, hurricane preparedness, caring for the caregiver, and heat safety tips for seniors. They also introduced the "Vials of Life" kit. Each senior who attended received a kit.The organization goes into a home and completes a needs assessment; next they put in the services needed so that seniors can live at home independently versus entering a long term care facility.
