We all need help in the cleaning department. Whether you work, stay at home, work from home, or somewhere in between, we could all use help getting our microwaves clean. Here are some great tips to deep cleaning your house: 1. Get stains out of your microfiber couch with rubbing alcohol. Those stains look like they are here to stay so get some isopropyl alcohol, a white sponge, some elbow grease, and a white bristle brush to make her couch look like new. Just make sure you use white tools so that the color dyes don't transfer to your fabric.2. Steam clean mystery stains out of your carpets using an iron. You don't need to rent a giant hulking carpet cleaner, unless you plan on doing the entire house. If you can't get the iron to work on a particular stain, pull out some vinegar and baking soda - that combination works really well on oil-based stains. 3. For water ring stains on your favorite table, try using your hair dryer to remove the stain. 4. Dust off your fan blades with a pillowcase. That way, you're not just wiping the dust off into the air but the pillowcase is helping to contain the dust. Best part is that you can then put the pillowcase in the laundry!5. When a duster won't get all the grime off of your blinds, use some vinegar to help clean the blinds.6. Spend some quality time cleaning out your kitchen sink with baking soda, vinegar, rock salt, ice cubes, and lemons. Think about how dirty your kitchen sink is...it is disgusting, right? Use these simple household items to competely clean, sanitize and make your stainless sink sparkle.7. Fight oily dust with…more oil. Do you have a greasy, dirty hood over your stove? Me too! If you use a little vegetable or mineral oil will help wipe up that sticky dust off. Once you get it off, though, you might want to use a little dish soap and a cleaning sponge to clean up your, um, cleaning oil. *Note: I actually tried this while writing this post. Worked so well.8. Scrub out your greasy oven with baking soda, dishwashing liquid, and vinegar. Have you noticed how gross your oven is lately? If you don't have a self-cleaning function (or just hate the smell it makes), you can clean it out yourself.Good luck with your housecleaning efforts. Article Tags: Baking Soda
