Raising a family can be challenging and stressful at times. However, the common goals and emotional, financial, and physical investments made can be a common bond between husband and wife. You know that theresnothing more beautiful than a pregnant woman glowing and smiling, so youshouldnt hide your body during p
When you begin dating a new guy and you are reading for initial introductions, one often worries about awkwardconversation. Since meeting my husbandand during the dating process I noticed what broke the ice the most with himand my brother-in-laws was the topic of football and college basketball. In the beginning of our relationship myhusband did not have much interest in following professional football orcollege basketball but after two years of marriage and being invited over forSunday football at my sisters my husband vigorously follows football. It amazes how football can make strangers newbest friends. I have noticed since myhusband has started watching football he is easily able to talk to any otherman anywhere we find ourselves. I thinkthe best way to introduce a new guy or girl to in-laws is a football gatheringwhether it be Sunday or Monday. If youare women and dislike football you can start up a conversation an complainabout how much football is discussed in your mans life. If you are a man then obviously you can bondwith the other men with the touchdowns and other plays in footballcongratulations each other when the chosen team scores or give each other crapwhen the team makes a bad play. The best way to help this alongis always having some football food staples in the kitchen for munching. My brother-in-laws obviously love their hotwings, chips and dip, veggie plate and always make something a little extraspecial to add to the excitement. Maybe cupcakeswith icing matching the team colors or perhaps something like stuffed jalapenopeppers, or mini pepperoni twists could spark up the humdrumstaples. Cocktail shrimp is also afavorite at our football family functions with my sisters andbrother-in-laws.
