Each Christmas day, various wreaths are the necessary decoration choice. I even like much to the green Christmas wreath with red fruit decor. Why? Why people treat wreaths as a tradition? What is the significance of a Christmas wreath? When did it start from? What does it symbolize? Then, the following may explain:The Christmas wreath owns a centuries-old history and may be tracked back to the old Persian Empire cultures. In the beginning, the circlet was named diadem. And it also adopted the style of fabric headbands which were sometimes decorated with jewels. Wreaths, made of laurel leaves, were used to crown winners of Olympic Games from 776 B.C. After then, when Olympic Games began to move to different cities, each host city would award the victors head wreaths which are made of local trees branches. There is not clear record to instruct when did the transition from head ornament to wall decoration exactly start. Usually, people as attendees like to simply hang the leafy headbands on their walls as souvenirs. Nowadays, beautifully decorated wreaths are not only an integral part of the December holidays, but they're popular throughout the year, decorated to fit each season.Maybe, the most popular use of this symbol is the Advent wreath. Although its real origin is unknown, some people think that it was aroused by the Swedish Crown of Lights, a candle-bearing crown worn by young Swedish girls on St. Lucia's Day. St. Lucia was a young Christian martyr who donates her whole dowry to the poor. Then, would you like to decor your house or Christmas trees with wreaths? I am sure I will, and I will specially decor Green & Red Christmas Wreath haven't decorated for Christmas in years because it always seems like such a pain and I live in a tiny house so I get tired of it quickly. This year I want to do just a little bit of decorating. I have lots of Christmas decorations in the basement, but I guess my problem is I'm not sure what I want to do. I need some inspiration since I haven't done in this in a few years. It will become even more appropriate when you hear that on the main tree, I have over 100 baubles, maybe over 200. I buy loads of new ones every year and use some old ones, so, Lord knows how many I have, and perhaps I'll count them. I bought about 120 the other day, but they replace the old colored ones!! I have a tickle, teeny-tiny fetish for baubles! I even use them on my gift wrapping, brown paper, colored ribbon and co-coordinating mini-bauble or two. Maybe I need help!!
