A couple ofhundred folks gathered for the day at the Sheraton Delfina Hotel in SantaMonica, California, for an intensive assessment of the health, the shiftingsands trends both good and bad and, ultimately, the future of the filmbusiness. Where have we come from, where are we today, where willwe likely be in one year and beyond ? The event producers Variety and DigitalMediaWire brought together a whos who of the film industry as speakers andpanelists. The dais boasted a steadystream of thought leaders and success stories in Hollywood.
