Translation jobs are undertaken by professional translators who are well versed with at least two languages.Translation can work at two levels: inter-state or regional language translation and inter-national or foreign language translation. Some forms of parent involvement with the school such as communications with school, volunteering, attending school events and parent--parent connections appeared to have little effect on student achievement, especially in high school. The virtues of reciting and memorizingthe Holy Quran Firdaws Academy-All perfect praise be to Allah, Prayers and peace of Allah beupon our Prophet, Muhammad, and upon all his family andcompanions.Quran is: The Word of God Almighty and His Straight Path, which is the basis of a unification, which is the source straight tothe legislation, and manholes wisdom and guidance, a mercyrendered to the people, and the light reflected to the nation.-The Qur’an is the word of the Lord of the Worlds, which Allahrevealed to His Messenger Muhammad (peace and blessings ofAllah be upon him), to bring mankind forth from darkness intolight: {It is He Who sends down manifest Ayaat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) to His slave(Muhammad) that He may bring you out from darkness intolight}.[Al-Hadeed 57:9]-The Noble Quran is the eternal miracle of Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) because all the miracles of the prophets, may Allahexalt their mention, ended with their death, except our Prophet(PBUH) whose miracle is still preserved. This everlastingmiracle is The Book of Allah and His Revealed Speech that{Falsehood cannot approach it from before it or from behindit (it is) sent down by the All-Wise, Worthy of all praise(Allah)} [Fussilat 41:42]-The Quran achieves happiness for the human, spreads securityand tranquility and provides glory, prosperity and safety. All thisis achieved through the Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet(PBUH)Allah The Almighty Says (what means): {Indeed, this Quranguides to that which is most suitable and gives good tidings tothe believers who do righteous deeds that they will have a greatreward.} [Al-Israa 17: 9]and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: “I have left among youtwo things you will never go astray as long as you hold fast tothem: The Book of Allah and my Sunnah.” [Al-Albaani:Hasan]-The Quran is the source of lighting the heart as well as life andremedy for souls. Allah The Almighty Says (what means): {Omankind, there has to come to you instruction from your Lordand healing for what is in the breasts and guidance and mercyfor the believers. Say, "In the Bounty of Allah and in HisMercy - in that let them rejoice; it is better than what theyaccumulate.”}[Yunus 10: 57-58]- When one reads the Book of Allah, he goes into a state ofpeace and tranquility unlike the human speeches or writings.Allah The Exalted Says (what means): {Those who havebelieved and whose hearts are assured by the remembrance ofAllah. Unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allah heartsare assured. Those who have believed and done righteousdeeds - a good state is theirs and a good return.}[Ar-Ra’d 13:28-29]- The Book of Allah to mankind's guidance is like the soul inrelation to the body. Therefore, he who abandons its recitationand does not act in accordance to its laws is in a state of spiritualdeath. Allah Almighty says (what means): {And is one who wasdead and We gave him life and made for him light by which towalk among the people like one who is in darkness, never toemerge therefrom? Thus, it has been made pleasing to thedisbelievers that which they were doing.} [Al-An’am 6:122]- we would like to remind the reader with the followingprophetic narration, of Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (PBUH)said: “Any group of people that assemble in one of the Housesof Allah to recite and study the Quran, tranquility will descendupon them, mercy will engulf them, angels will surround themand Allah will make mention of them to those (the angels) inHis proximity.” [Muslim].-There are Ten Rewards for Every Letter Recited from theQuran Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: "The one who reads asingle letter from the Book of Allah will be rewarded with onegood deed. (Know that) A good deed is multiplied ten timesover. I do not say Alif Laam Meem is one letter. Verily, Alif isone letter, Laam is one letter, Meem is one letter."[At-Tirmithi]-The Quran will Intercede for Us on the Day of Judgement AbuUmaamah, may Allah be pleased with him, related that theProphet (PBUH) said: “Read the Quran, for indeed it will comeon the Day of Standing (Judgement) as an intercessor for itscompanions.” [Muslim] -Furthermore, the angels descend to listen to the one who recitesthe Noble Quran. This can be proved by what is mentioned fromthe Hadeeth of Usayd ibn Hudhayr, may Allah be pleased withhim, in which he said, “While he was reciting Surat Al-Baqarahat night, and his horse was tied beside him, the horse wassuddenly became startled and troubled. When he stoppedreciting, the horse became quiet, and when he started again, thehorse was startled again. Then he stopped reciting and his son,Yahya, was beside the horse and he was afraid that the horsemight trample on him. When he took the boy away and lookedtowards the sky, he saw a cloud radiating with light that lookedlike lamps." The Prophet (PBUH), said to him: “Do you knowwhat that was?” I (Usayd) replied, "No." The Prophet(PBUH),said: “Those were angels who came near you becauseof your voice and if you had kept on reciting till dawn, it wouldhave remained there till morning when people would haveseen them without them (the angels) concealing themselvesfrom people.”[ Al-Bukhari and Muslim]-The People of the Quran are from Best of People ‘Uthmaan, may Allah be pleased with him, said that the Prophet (PBUH)said: “The best of you are those who learn the Quran andteach it to others.” [Al-Bukhari] -It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said:“The Messenger of Allah said: 'Allah has His own peopleamong mankind.' They said: 'O Messenger of Allah, who arethey?' He said: 'The people of the Qur'an, the people of Allahand those who are closest to Him.”[Ahmad]- Allah Almighty says, {Indeed, those who recite the Book ofAllah and establish prayer and spend [in His cause] out ofwhat We have provided them, secretly and publicly, [can]expect a profit that will never perish.VThat He may give them in full their rewards and increasefor them of His bounty. Indeed, He is Forgiving andAppreciative. VAnd that which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad],of the Book is the truth, confirming what was before it.Indeed, Allah, of His servants, is Acquainted and Seeing.VThen we caused to inherit the Book those We have chosenof Our servants; and among them is he who wrongs himself, and among them is he who is moderate, and among them ishe who is foremost in good deeds by permission of Allah .That [inheritance] is what is the great bounty.V[For them are] gardens of perpetual residence which theywill enter. They will be adorned therein with bracelets ofgold and pearls, and their garments therein will be silk.VAnd they will say, "Praise to Allah, who has removed fromus [all] sorrow. Indeed, our Lord is Forgiving andAppreciative - V He who has settled us in the home of duration out of Hisbounty. There touches us not in it any fatigue, and theretouches us not in it weariness [of mind].} [Fâtir 35:29-30]-The Reciters of the Quran Will Be in the Company of the Nobleand Obedient Angels. ‘Aa'ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, related that the Prophet (PBUH) said: “Indeed the one whorecites the Quran beautifully, smoothly, and precisely, will bein the company of the noble and obedient angels. As for theone who recites with difficulty, stammering or stumblingthrough its verses, then he will have twice that reward.”[Al-Bukhari and Muslim] -The Quran Raises One's Status in this Life. In Saheeh Muslim, which is one of the two most authentic books of propheticnarrations, we find a wonderful story about how a man from thepeople of Paradise, ‘Umar bin Al-Khattaab, may Allah bepleased with him, understood this principle. The story is thatonce, some men came to question him during his reign as caliphregarding the leadership of Makkah. The men asked: “Who doyou use to govern Makkah?” He, may Allah be pleased withhim, said: “Ibn Abzaa.” They asked: “And who is Ibn Abzaa?”‘Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, replied: “A freed slavefrom those we freed.” They remarked: “You left a freed slave incommand of the People of the Valley (the noble tribes of theQuraysh)?” He, may Allah be pleased with him, replied: “Indeedhe is a reciter of the Book of Allah and is knowledgeable aboutthe obligations of the Muslims. Haven’t you heard the statementof the Prophet (PBUH): “Verily Allah raises some people bythis Book and lowers others by it”. [Muslim] -One’s Position and Rank in Paradise is Determined by theAmount of Quran He Memorized in this Life. ‘Abdullaah bin‘Amr bin Al-‘Aas, may Allah be pleased with him, heard theProphet (PBUH) saying: “It will be said to the companion ofthe Quran: 'Read and elevate (through the levels of Paradise)and beautify your voice as you did when you were in theworldly life! For verily, your position in Paradise will be at thelast verse you recite.” [Abu Daawood and At-Tirmithi]-A person who memorizes the whole Quran and acts upon it getsmany benefits he will get what is mentioned in the saying of theProphet (PBUH)"Whoever reads the Quran, memorizes it, andacts upon it, on the Day of Judgment he will be clad (byangels) with a crown of light, its light is like the sunlight andhis parents will be clad with two garments better than thewhole world and whatever it contains." So, they wouldamazingly ask: "What action did we do to deserve this?" Theywill be told: "Because your son memorized the Quran".[Al-Haakim] -Ibn `Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: TheMessenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "He who does not memorizeany part from the Qur'an he is like the ruined house.''[At-Tirmidhi].The Prophet (PBUH) has complained to Allah, Glorified andExalted, against those who abandon the Quran and turn awayfrom it. Allah Almighty says, {And the Messenger has said, "Omy Lord, indeed my people have taken this Qur'an as [a thing]abandoned.} [Al-Furqan 25:30]Ibn Al-Qayyim said, “There are different kinds of abandoning the Quran:- To abandon hearing it, believing in it, and listening to it,- To abandon working according to it (its rules, laws, teachings…), knowing its permissible and forbidden; even if onereads and believes in it,- To abandon making it the judge in the basics and branches ofreligion and life.- To abandon pondering over and understanding it, and notknowing what it verses mean,- To abandon healing the diseases of the hearts by it, all theprevious is included in the words of Allah Almighty in theaforementioned verse.”Note:There is another kind of abandoning, which has prevailed in ourtimes. It is putting a copy of the Quran in a certain place, to beblessed by merely its presence. It is to be put on a shelf in thehouse, at the back or front of the car, until it is covered withdust, which is a testimony that it is abandoned. This shows themisbehavior to the Book of Allah.-The importance of intonationLearning the rules of Tajweed is important and will lead tocorrect pronunciation of the letters, improved recitation andavoidance of errors -The importance of interpretationO Muslim, you should read the Quran with your heart firstbefore your tongue to find Purity of meanings which quenchyour thirst from the water of eloquence, gentleness where yousmell the breeze of the garden as well as words when they arestrict, they are like waves of the overflowing seas and when theyare lenient, they are the breaths of the life to come. Allah TheAlmighty Says (what means): {Then do they not reflect uponthe Quran, or are there locks upon [their] hearts?}[Muhammad 47: 24]- Abdullah Ibn Mas’ûd, may Allah be pleased with him, said,“The reciter of the Quran should be known by his night (as he isawake) while people are asleep. He is to be known by his day(as he is fasting) while people are eating. He is to be known byhis crying (out of fear from Allah) while people are laughing, byhis piety while people are only sincere. He is known by his silence while people are talking idly, by hissubmission while people are conceited, and by his sadness whilepeople are rejoicing.” Also, he said “If you seek knowledge, turn the Quran into prose,as it includes the knowledge of those of old and those of latertimes.”- ‘Uthman ibn Affan and Hudhaifa ibn Al-Yaman, may Allahbe pleased with them, said, “When the hearts are purified, theywill not be satiated from reciting the Quran.”-Dear brothers and sisters, that these some benefits from thenumerous benefits available can only be attained by a sincerecommitment to the Book of Allah, and not simply by an emptyclaim of love for it. Rather, the heart must be sincerely attachedto the Book of Allah and the limbs and tongue will follow suit inthis attachment. - One must know that we only mentioned a few of the numerousbenefits of reading and reflecting over the Quran. There aremany other benefits that await your reading of the Quran andbooks of Hadeeth, such as the chapter of the Quran that willplead on your behalf in the grave, and that it is a physicalhealing, a source of rest and relaxation for your heart, amongmany other things.-Finally, there are other benefits that no one knows but Allah.we ask Allah to make the Noble Quran a proof for us, notagainst us. All the praises and thanks be to Allah, the Lord of the‘Alamîn (mankind, jinn and all that exists). Prayers and peace ofAllah be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his familyand companions.Compiled ByMahmoud Jafar
