The application form correction for NEET 2018 would be beginning on March 15, 2018. The application procedure for National Eligibility Entrance Test had ended on March 12, 2018. As per CBSE’S notification, students registering for the examination would be given one time opportunity for correction of data which would be affecting the determination of their merit or result as per the one mentioned in the information bulletin.Candidates can make the corrections in the following details:IdentificationGenderDate of birth detailsCode of EligibilityDisabilityCategoryMediumExamination CentersName of Father and MotherIn case of the identification identity, only those candidates would be allowed to correct their details on the application form using any other ID other than Aadhaar. In the case of State code of eligibility, candidates who belong to the State of Jammu and Kashmir might also change the status of Self Declaration that is submitted by them. Candidates belonging to the States of Assam ,Meghalaya, Jammu and Kashmir would be able to change their state code of eligibility.Any candidate would be able to change their category or disability status in the application form. Wherein change in category/disability involves a higher fee, the candidate would be required to pay a high deference fee.Any candidate is allowed to make changes in the examination center, qualifying examination code and percentage along with father and mother name. Admissions to all Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy across all states would be through NEET 2018, as per a notification on the official website on Karnataka Common Entrance Test. The news of AYUSH being mandatory for NEET was confirmed in the previous year when the Ministry of AYUSH issued two notifications in the months of January and April, sending information across to all State Governments that admissions to BHMS, BAMS,BUMS, BSMS and BNYS would be done through the NEET Merit List from 2018 onwards.The Central Board of Secondary Education has submitted before the Supreme Court of India that the National Eligibility Entrance Test 2018 would be comprising of only one paper, which would be translated into all languages in which the paper would be held.The Decision of CBSE is seen positively by aspirants preparing for NEET 2018, as it would be ensuring that all the candidates are evaluated on the basis of the same set of questions. No uniformity n questions and the alleged differences in the difficulty level of various question papers has led them to come up to conclusion.Out of 11 Lakh candidates who had written NEET Examination last year, only 1 Lakh candidates had applied to write the examination in regional languages. Soon after that, there were complaints about the difficulty level of these various papers in comparison to English.
