IntroductionRecently, there is commonknowledge that the human cannot be discriminated against focused on sexual orientation, gender, etc… in just about any situation one can think of. On the other hand, this compilation of acts involves but is not restricted on demotion, promotion, firing or hiring of women. During all past historical ages, women werestruggling hard to gain their freedom along with obtaining their desiredrights. However, strangely enough, this well-known fact is often easily ignored in the cases of women; many morefear to speak out because of retaliation and prejudices, which will be lodgedagainst them if they were to step forward. Notwithstanding, social scientistsbelieve that there are several elements involved in making changes to thecollective mind in similar situations such as these. Among them are attitude, structure (as in the structure of society), and the technical aspects specificto the situation to which they are applied. The number of reports filedrises every year, indicating that the problem is becoming more pronounced, thanmore and more women are being harassed, belittled and demeaned simply becausethey were born female. A chief complaint among these women who do speak out isthat they are passed over for promotion, the positions instead given to menwith lesser qualifications. Yet, in literature, most of authors announce thoseissues in their written novels, stories, or even poems. This paper articulates ananalysis of two stories related with women struggle to gain their freedom,"A Rose For Emily", by William Faulkner, and " TheStory Of An Hour", by Kate Chopin. Conclusion is enclosed to summarizethe paper's details, and a works cited page is attached.   1- The Story Of An Hour"The Story Of AnHour" has been published in 1849, which has been written by theAmerican author, Kate Chopin. This story is acknowledged as the best-knownpiece of short fiction at this time. The plot of this storysurrounded the fact of a wife's reaction at her news of her husband's death inan accident, and the later news of his alive. Yet, this story examines the roleof women in marriage and her feminism identity. 2- A Rose For Emily"A Rose for Emily" is considered oneshort piece of the American author, William Faulkner's works. Published in1930, this story occupied its place in the fictional city, Faulkner. The events of the story begin after Emily's death, themain character of this story. Sexual disputes are arisen in the whole story, which reflects the wish of the author to inform the readers how women werevictims by their communities and their ethical manners, even when deciding toamuse themselves. Fromthe narration way of the story, the spirit of feminism appears. However, it is knownas one of the great acts in the cultural and ethical issues of the AmericanSouth at this time.    3- Role Of Women And Desire For FreedomOf The ProtagonistIn both stories, the readercan discover how feminism is considered such obstacles for women in her wholelife. Females in both stories were struggling hard to get their emancipationfrom the control of males. In the "The Story Of An Hour", andfrom its title, the whole life of a woman had been changed in just one hour. Atthe first minute of this hour, she had been faced with a sudden death of herhusband. She, dramatically hurried to her room weeping, but then, she hadrealized that she had released from the control of her husband, and should seekon her own new life, free of any "imperialism", "There would beno one to live for her during those coming years; she would live for herself. There would be no powerful will bending hers in that blind persistence withwhich men and women believe they have a right to impost a private will upon afellow-creature…", (Chopin 215). Nevertheless, suddenly, herhusband had back safety, while she could not bear the new news, and died atonce. In contradiction with what appeared to others that she could not bear thenew news, "… when the doctors came, they said she had died of heartdisease – of joy that kills.", (Chopin 215), the author insisted that herdeath was due to the fact that she could not bear to be controlled again by herhusband and her dreams of freedom had been lost completely. On the other hand, in thestory of "A Rose for Emily" there is also a tendency of womenmistreatment. Being a woman is only the main fact for females living, perhapsfrom the moment they born. "Daddy wanted me to be a lady – his little lady– from the day I learned to walk…" (Faulkner 30). From the feministperspective, the women were not allowed to be economically independent. However, this story is the story of a lady betrayed and victimized by the sexualpolitics' systems, who never discover the power's sources for herself.  According to both authors, women have not the right to be unanticipated to come across, against anyefforts to juggle around with almost any culture’s judgment of her own body.Starting from the age of Virgin Mary to the age of Barbie, females have been providedwith certain ambiguous models for whole their personified living, which mergeasexuality through hyperactive sexuality in incomprehensible and odd ways. (Bhardwai34). Additionally, on thecondition that commodities have been writing this serious fact on their own bodies, females have both made possible ways to be able to destabilize their own consequencein the matching act. (Bhardwai 40).The differences between male and female are noteworthy. Consistentwith previous research, these differences reflect both internal and externalaspects of certain communities. From the internal perspective, it can noticethat differences in opinion between male and female, primarily involved issuesof perceived fairness and matters of peer recognition. Females in both stories were more likely to indicate that they haveseen unfair behavior based on gender with regard to transfers, access to uppermanagement, promotion, and representation in senior positions and in specialunits. (Denov 50).It is discovered as wellthat women were more likely than men to report that they had to work harderthan others did in order to be perceived as equals within any workplace. Inaddition, some females may believe that their colleagues' males have their own lowerexpectations of them. Moreover, they believe that some males have not wanted tocollaborate with them due to their gender focus. The results also indicate thatfemales believe they have less respect within the society. These findings suggest thatmany females can perceive unfair treatment based on gender –perhaps areflection of a historically male-dominated culture within all communities.(Denov 56).  ConclusionThe external aspects involveissues pertaining to family life. Many respondents – both male and female –agreed that family considerations were important reasons for not applying forpromotions or transfers. Females, however, were morelikely than their male peers to report considering delaying or not having afamily. This gender difference may be because women must deal with the effectthat pregnancy could have on their careers. It is also possible thatwomen officers are more cognizant of potential child-care issues that a careerin any employment can bring, and thus are more concerned with the support thatwill be provided to them.            Inall those involved issues, we all have many questions, and nobody has all theanswers. In any culture or nation, successful females rest on four basicpillars: research, cooperation, education, and training. Not only in employing, butalso in training, education, and research, the only real answer is cooperationpooling resources, knowledge, ideas, and experience to arrive to those mutuallysolutions, which are full of benefits.
